No headlight after bar swap
So I took the plunge and got rid of the Buckhorn's. Used the instructions here and one other site and things went smoothly until it was all hooked back up and no headlight. I've checked the wires twice just to make sure I didn't screw up, but still no light. The turn signals work as well as the horn. It starts and runs fine as well. I can't find the fuse box though. Anything else I should check?

Fuse box is behind the left side cover.
Triple check your connections, if it worked before, and that was the last place you visited....it's probably something you left undone or mixed up.

Use a meter or test light....could be a bad bulb.

Re: No headlight after bar swap
To update my issue, I have no headlight, rear running lights, and not speedometer backlight. Tried a new headlight bulb for s&gs and that didnt work.
I have one extra black/white wire that I cant seem to find a home for in the harness at all. Im terrible with electrical. When I was tearing it all apart everything appeared to match and be color coded, so I wasn't too worried about it. I have never used any sort of electrical tester, so im not sure i would even be doing it right.

There is a spare B/W wire in the bucket, so don't worry about that. B/W is the ground through the whole system
Check/replace your headlamp fuse, a fuse can "look" good and be bad.

Just a thought....is the key in the on position, not the park position?

Re: No headlight after bar swap
I replaced the fuse in the fuse block, and replaced the bulb. I'm guessing at this point I have a break in the system.
So frustrating. Everything is working except for the above mentioned. The kickstand safety switch, the signals all work. All of it. I'm wondering if an issue with the rocker switch in the left side handlebar housing. I noticed that something appears to be broke with that.

The switch is a good place to start.
