you could always go the very fine sandpaper route and finish it with a power ball with compound wax then

I saw a thread on here once before where a guy polished his aluminum wheels and they turned out great. I wish I had a set, but I can't budget that much for wheels.

Those don't look real bad, at least form the pics.

Try one of the wadding polishes like Never Dull if the surface is smooth and you just want them to shine.

Here is a good place to find information on polishing aluminum.

I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

Thanks for the tips brothers.
They aren't in bad shape at all. Just figure since i still have them.. Can do some cleaning. Lol.
Will see which route to go and tackle in time. Will post more pics after.
In the mean time.. If anyone's interested; can do lay-away so it's not a financial shock.

Send them to me. I'll clean them up and clear coat them. I'll return them "when I'm done". [emoji41]

I find using brillo / SOS pads work great, as long as it's bear metal and not coated.

The EZ way is to use paint stripper or paint remover to remove the clear coat.

Then use a cloth wheel on a drill to shine it up with mothers billett polish.

I posted a how to video years ago.
Any body still have it?

My way there is no sanding required.
The pitting you are sanding is just in the clear coat 90 percent of the time so sanding is a waste of time and energy.

Haven't gotten to it yet as i've been dealing with other things right now. But if you (Princemo) put the vid on youtube; you should be able to log in and go to your uploads to find it.
Unfortunately i have more serious issues to contend with at the moment.
