Clutch Pressure Plate Torque

Replacing the clutch, first one I have ever done on a motorcycle. Just how are you guys tightening down the pressure plate bolts? I take it the spacer on the bolts is not supposed to bottom out and then torque to spec?

First off, use an inch-pound torque wrench, NOT a foot-pound wrench.
put all the bolts in finger tight, then use a criss-cross pattern to torque them.
IIRC you want 100 inch pounds which is approx. 8 foot lbs.
The bolts are different lengths so first trace the gasket on a piece of cardboard and place the bolts accordingly...do the same for the clutch bolts.
Place the bolts and springs in the correct locations.
