Loose shifter
My shifter feels loose. I see there is a connecting rod from the shifter to the gear box that has bolts on it that look like they are for adjustment. The rod is hex shaped and has threading at both ends. How can I adjust it, if that's the problem. Also, I've been thinking about getting Designer's clutch springs, but I have fibromyalgia (kind of like arthritis), and I heard it doubles the amount of pressure needed to pull the clutch lever in. Is this true? Plus, all the pictures have been deleted from the tech section which showed in detail how to get the job done.

Re: Loose shifter
Just tighten up on the rod ends til slack is out.
Designers springs do add to the stength needed to pull clutch lever. Unless your hands are deteriorating.. I would say you can get used to them and your grip will strengthen as you use.
