Vs1400 carb question

I have a 1995 intruder 1400, I removed carb to rejet...but there is a place to attach a hose in front of the rear carb, Right next to the choke. It's not a overflow line...but for the life of me I can't figure what it is...help!

It sounds, to me, that you are describing the vacuum port for the boost sensor. Is in on the engine side of the throttle?

NVM, you said rear, but I pictured front. Is the fitting part of the carb?
