non-LED Turn Signal recommendations

Post by jelildude »

Wondering what those of you who've replaced the stock turn signals have gone with.....I'm looking for some units that are smaller than stock, stubby (won't stick out as far) bright (light output) and chrome :big grin:
like to match front and rear and have the front operate as running lights as well. lastly, I'd prefer they come in under $100 for all 4. Any suggestions guys?
Thanks!

In order to get running lights as well and turns it must be a 3 wire setup. I run Saddlemen Part #: 2040-0803 LED Bullet Marker/Signal Light Kit. They ain't cheap but they are good. I found them on sale for $75 per set a couple years ago after a lot of shopping around and coupon code hunting.

Like 98 said, hundreds of choices on eBay. Ideally, you won't pay more than about $50 for all four.

Awesome ideas and suggestions from all you guys...Thanks!

Jolsen, those are the ticket! I'll be ordering a set of 4

ddog....I see your bike is drum brake in the rear....it's an 800? Is that the stock rear turn mounting location or did you change it? I don't see why that wouldn't work on a 1400 to draw the rear turns in tighter against the bike. "Dumbo Ears"

Ddog relocated his to the license plate bracket. Mine are currently in stock locations.

Keep in mind red rear. If you want to do those as running lights.

I can't do what ddog did because I tucked my plate to get rid of that ugly oversized license plate light.

Jolsen is correct. It's common when you delete the sissy bar. I just opted to modify a Harley one since taller, with more support and easier to remove if I like. I'm working on something quick detach for when my wife isn't with me.

And it's actually a 700, not an 800. Damn import tariffs. Still halls ass though.
