Front carb idle set screw setting...

So I was wondering, looking for pics of where the idle screw was set for front carb and i found these... Seems to be about the same in all of them.

I think I need to check and adjust mine..
Is this where yours are too??

This is where my front carb "idle screw" was. Although it was my understanding that the front carb screw was just as a backup/safety to prevent the carb from slamming shut if the sync cable were to break while running. The front carb idle should be controlled by the idle screw on the rear carb via the sync cable.

I've heard of people eliminating the sync cable and setting the carbs independently but normally the rear carb idle screw controls both to allow adjustment both simultaneously.
