I jave notice the sigma kits have really big jets. I have seen guys using 190 and 180 rear. 180 and 170 front.
with factory pro
biggest I have ever seen used are 165 rear and 155 front.
Just wondering if if a 190 sigma jets output is similar to a 165 motion pro jet.
Mayne there is no standard for sizing?
factory pro jets vs sigma jets

Re: factory pro jets vs sigma jets
Keihin, Mikuni and DJ have different jetting numbers but not sure about the Factory Pro stuff:
Although pretty sure when I got a FP kit for my ZX9 they were just Keihin jets?

Re: factory pro jets vs sigma jets
that would make sense then.
a fair difference in somenof those
I guess that makes sense though as to why a 190 would go in the 1400s rear.

Re: factory pro jets vs sigma jets
Hi this may help you : i fitted a FP stage 3 kit to my 1400. There was 3 sets of main jets. i used the the biggest 160 front and 165 rear.. My set up included K&N drop in filters with the airbox top drilled with 6 by 7/8" holes drilled in each
my mufflers are 1 7/8" id with Big city thunder QQ baffles fitted as per their instructions. From memory the FP supplied needles were 3rd(middle) groove in the rear carb and 4th from pointy end in the front. Also the kit supplied matched idle/ intermediate jets which i used. It took a bit of trial and error but the bike goes really well tons, of power fuel consumption went up a bit but not as much as i thought. Still does 15km/litre = Approx 45mpg depending on US or UK gallons. Good luck with your quest
Regards
